Welcome to Loxley Church

We are glad you are here.
Ready to take the next step but not sure where to start? You’ve come to the right place! There are many ways to get further involved with our church family, and we’d love to take part in your walk with Christ. Whether you’re publicly proclaiming your faith, dedicating the smallest members of your family to the lord, or announcing Loxley Church as your home, we’d like to help you celebrate! Click on the next step that applies to you to sign up for a date that works for you and your family. We are so glad to have you at Loxley.

We invite you to take your next steps towards getting connected at Loxley. Engage is an introductory class for anyone interested in learning more about the mission and ministries at Loxley Church. You are welcome to get information and answers to any questions you may have, all while enjoying breakfast with our pastors. We’ll also have a t-shirt for new attendees. The class is held on the last Sunday of every month at 9:45 am in the Ministry Center Banquet Room.

First – Engage in a relationship with Christ. Learn more about Jesus and how you can grow in a relationship with Him.
Second – Engage in Community. Learn more about our church and our beliefs.
Third – Engage in Commission. Jesus said,

“Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you” (Matthew 28:18-20).

We hope you will join us in learning more about Loxley Church, your faith, and how to get engaged in ministry and your relationship with Christ.

To RSVP, text ENGAGE to (251) 973-6247, or email Amy Causey.

“Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” Romans 12:4-5

Welcome to the family! You’ve decided that Loxley Church is home and want the world to know that you’re partnering with this church. Church membership is a way of officially identifying oneself with a local body of believers. It is biblical. It gives stability. It provides accountability. It benefits you!

“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Romans 6:4

Baptism is a visible act with a spiritual meaning. It is a symbol of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. It is a symbol of your new life as a Christian and connects you to the body of Christ. Baptism does not make you a believer or save you, only your faith in Christ can do that (Ephesians 2:8-9) Baptism tells the world that you have decided to follow Jesus. It is the wedding ring of your relationship with Jesus. The ring doesn’t make you married, it simply lets the world know that you are!

“Train up a child in the way he should go. Even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
